In 2023, the 16th Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards (TCSA) hosted by Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TAISE), Sinyi Realty was awarded “Top 10 Taiwanese Companies Sustainability Model Award (Services Sector)” for the ninth time. Furthermore, we also received “Corporate Sustainability Report - Platinum Award” in real estate industry.

The TCSA, known as the Oscars for Taiwan Corporate Sustainability, the participants reached 526 companies this year, an increase 24% from last year, a record high, and the importance of sustainability development has greatly caught people’s eyes.

Since 2017, we’ve slashed paper usage by an impressive 96% while significantly boosting customer satisfaction. That's what we call a win-win.

We’re particularly proud that our Sustainability Report has clinched the Platinum award in the Real Estate and Construction sector. This report isn’t just a document - it's a testament to our alignment with world-class standards like GRI, SASB, and TCFD.

As Chairman Eugene Chien pointed out, we’re in good company - 526 firms participated in this year’s Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards, all rising to meet government net-zero policies and embracing sustainable frameworks. Our report lays out our short, medium, and long-term goals, all in perfect harmony with the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It’s our way of showing we’re all in when it comes to sustainability.

Sinyi continues to adopting international standards and regulations, and joins global sustainability initiatives. It’s clear that we’re part of a larger movement, all pushing towards a more sustainable future.

About TCSA

The Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TAISE) aims at encouraging companies to tackle corporate sustainability issues and disclose corporate governance information, so as to strengthen its emphasis on maintaining sustainable development, a friendly environment and a public prosperous society. They have been holding the “Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards” (TCSA) for the past 16 years, and organizing corporate sustainability report seminars to provide domestic companies with a platform for information exchange and reports observation. These seminars were warmly received from the companies and community respectively.

The number of participants in TCSA accumulated to 731 companies, which annual turnover is about 140% of Taiwan’s 2022 GDP.

TCSA Objectives

• Encourage Taiwan’s industry participation in corporate social responsibility and sustainability efforts.
• Enhance the importance and investment that Taiwan’s enterprises place in corporate governance, sustainable development, environmentally-friendliness, and civil society.
• Recognize and reward outstanding Taiwan enterprises and international enterprises in Taiwan who have already published corporate sustainability reports or attained excellent results and performance in sustainability efforts.
• Enhance the practical level of Taiwan’s corporate social responsibility performance and sustainability issues.
• Stimulate Taiwan’s enterprises to engage in comprehensive sustainability efforts and appreciate the importance of corporate sustainability.
• TCSA serves as an information exchange and observation platform for Taiwan industry to explore reportage activities.
