Siny Realty receives Net Zero 2030x2050 badge
Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TAISE) organized the Taiwan Alliance for Net Zero Emission with major enterprises to continuously promote the goal of achieving net zero emissions. Sinyi Realty is the first and only real estate brokerage company that receives the Net Zero 2030x2050 badge, grading "Green".
In response to the international carbon reduction trend, Sinyi Realty has set the goals aligned with Paris Agreement, committing to Sinyi Realty achieving net zero by 2030 and Sinyi Group achieving net zero by 2050.
The GHG emissios from purchased energy accounted for more than 90% of Sinyi Reatly's total GHG emissions, so energy management system (EMS) has been introduced to improve energy saving and efficiency. Compared to 2010, eventhoug the number of branch has grew by 50.2%, the GHG emissions of electricity consumption per person has dropped by 58.3%.
In the face of climate emergency, Sinyi Realty has adopted Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) framework for climate governance since 2020 and published the first TCFD report in 2022, being the world's first real estate brokerage companty that recieved Level 5+: excellence by the verification of BSI.
Sinyi Realty takes creating sustainable living for the stakeholders as the expectation for itself at the 40th anniversary. In the future Sinyi Realty will carry out more net-zero practices and continue to make innovations and changes happen.
