In 2022, the 15th Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards (TCSA) hosted by Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TAISE), Sinyi Realty was awarded “Top 10 Taiwanese Companies Sustainability Model Award (Services Sector)” for the eighth time. Furthermore, we also received “Climate Leadership Award,” “Transparency and Integrity Award,” “Growth through Innovation Award,” and “Corporate Sustainability Report - Platinum Award in real estate industry.”

The TCSA, known as the Oscars for Taiwan Corporate Sustainability, the participants reached 424 companies this year, an increase 29% from last year, a record high, and the importance of sustainability development has greatly caught people’s eyes.

For Climate Leadership Award, The judges affirmed Sinyi's efforts in reducing carbon footprint, and actively participating in domestic and foreign climate action initiatives such as CDP, SBTi, Taiwan Alliance for Net Zero Emission, etc. Sinyi also introduced the framework of TCFD since 2020, and released its TCFD report in 2022. The TCFD report was verified and given the highest level of Level 5+ by BSI, which also made Sinyi the first real estate company in the world to have this honor.

For Growth through Innovation Award, Sinyi has innovated two major projects, “AI Smart Recommendation” and “DiNDON Smart View,” which improve the efficiency of buying and selling houses for employees, buyers and sellers, and bring new changes to the real estate industry. For Transparency and Integrity Award, it affirmed Sinyi’s corporate governance mechanism, which is even superior to laws, regulations and industry standards, leading the industry to upgrade, and has maintained in the top 5% listed companies by TWSE for 8 consecutive years.

Sinyi Realty’s Sustainability Report was prepared in accordance with GRI Standards, SASB, TCFD, etc., and was recognized with the Platinum Award. A total of 287 companies participated in this Corporate Sustainability Report Award, showing the willingness to set a model of transparent disclosure and compliance with international sustainability development norms.

About TCSA

The Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TAISE) aims at encouraging companies to tackle corporate sustainability issues and disclose corporate governance information, so as to strengthen its emphasis on maintaining sustainable development, a friendly environment and a public prosperous society. They have been holding the “Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards” (TCSA) for the past 16 years, and organizing corporate sustainability report seminars to provide domestic companies with a platform for information exchange and reports observation. These seminars were warmly received from the companies and community respectively. The number of participants in TCSA accumulated to 581 companies, which annual turnover is about 167% of Taiwan's 2021 GDP.

TCSA Objectives

• Encourage Taiwan’s industry participation in corporate social responsibility and sustainability efforts.
• Enhance the importance and investment that Taiwan’s enterprises place in corporate governance, sustainable development, environmentally-friendliness, and civil society.
• Recognize and reward outstanding Taiwan enterprises and international enterprises in Taiwan who have already published corporate sustainability reports or attained excellent results and performance in sustainability efforts.
• Enhance the practical level of Taiwan’s corporate social responsibility performance and sustainability issues.
• Stimulate Taiwan’s enterprises to engage in comprehensive sustainability efforts and appreciate the importance of corporate sustainability.
• TCSA serves as an information exchange and observation platform for Taiwan industry to explore reportage activities.
